BioCONTRADICTORY
Do you see me as the unique person I am,
who is determined to help you turn that frown upside down?
The confident person,
who says 'together we can stand to unite to educate and ease stigma'
A mask plastered firm and strong?
Or do you see the vulnerable girl
Assertive to get things done,
that way you wont walk all over me, as others before you have.
Strong,
but how do you measure that strength?
Crying for happiness of accomplishments,
or crying from yet another paralysing flashback.
Physically scarred for life,
or scars of survival?
Content at barely leaving the house,
yet able to leave to help you out of the dark world you live within.
Fear of everything and anything,
yet fearless in a passion of wanting to change the world around me.
Starting to feel in love,
with a world of mystery and intrigue.
Firmly stood upon the ground,
yet flying high to the success of a small bit of self belief.

What do a few people who know me really think?
SELF INJURY CAN AS I SADLY KNOW FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCES BE A ROLLER COASTER RIDE, IN ORDER TO SURVIVE, IN A WORLD WHERE 'HEALTHY' WAYS TO COPE VANISHED LONG AGO. OVER 15 YEARS OF MY 26 YEARS OF LIFE WERE DOMINATED BY THE CLENCHING TEETH AND POWER IT HAD OVER ME, I WOULDN'T SAY IT HAS LET ME GO, JUST I HAVE FOUGHT IT HARD IN ORDER THAT THE FOLLOWING TICKERS SHOW MY PRIDE.
